Kha Cho Ling Retreat House, Bhaktapur, Nepal

Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche established Sekhar Retreat House at a very special location, near Milarepa's cave in the hills, outside of Bhaktapur. He did his to benefit those who wish to deepen their practice through private short- and long-term retreats.

The retreat house is located next to Thrangu Rinpoche's three year retreat centre for monks.

The retreat house has eight suites, each consisting of a bedroom, kitchenette, and a western style bathroom. Each suite is comfortable furnished with western style furniture and a shrine and traditional meditation seat.

For those having food, three simple vegetarian meals are delivered to the door. Cooking facilities are available for those who wish to do their own cooking.

Retreatants are expected to follow the rules of the centre, which are based on respect for others and the environment. No alcohol, drugs, or cigarettes are permitted.
